Modify > Generate Hierarchy Exporter Action

This feature is available from the Modify Menu of the home asset in an Ontology that includes the SKOS shapes graph. It can be used to generate customized spreadsheet exporters that will become available from the Explore menu of Concept Schemes in any Taxonomy that includes the current Ontology.

When opened, a dialog will ask you to enter the display label for the new Explore action. For example, use “Export hierarchy spreadsheet”. You can also select additional properties that should go into the spreadsheet. For example, add “alternative label”.

Based on this input, a new Explore action will be added to the current Ontology. Then when you switch to the Taxonomies that include this Ontology (and reload the page), you should be able to right-click on any concept scheme (e.g., in the Taxonomy Concepts Panel) and select the new export action under the Explore menu.

The resulting spreadsheets will include the hierarchy of all concepts under the chosen scheme, with empty cells indicating the nesting of broader/narrower concepts. Any other selected property will be shown as additional columns.
