Semantic Data Governance for GDPR Compliance
How can you effectively prepare for GDPR compliance?
Are you ready for GDPR? If you’re like most organizations, the answer is probably no. But with the compliance deadline nearing, the pressure to comply is high. If you suffer a data breach and are then found to be non-compliant, your financial penalties may reach 4% of global gross revenue.
GDPR applies not only to organizations in the EU, but to any organization doing business with EU citizens, in fact, any organization processing or storing data for individuals within the EU. GDPR makes data governance more important than ever before. An effective data governance solution will help you understand your data-processing activities and identify and document the legal justification for each type of activity.
Join our webinar to learn about:
- Key challenges and essential steps and capabilities for ensuring GDPR compliance
- Identifing where personal data is stored, who has access to it, and what they’re doing with it
- Understanding what obligations apply to specific data elements
- Controlling and addressing issues that may lead to compliance violations
Through the extensive, pre-existing models and capabilities that TopBraid Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) provides for comprehensive data governance, we will outline how you can get started faster and stay GDPR compliant.
Who Should Attend: Data Protection Officers, Data Controllers, Compliance Officers, Chief Data Officers and Chief Information Officers, Data Governance Project and Program Managers, Data Stewards, Chief Marketing Officers and Chief Privacy Officers.
