Asset Operations Button

The Asset Operations button is available in the toolbar of the asset collection workspace. It provides a searchable dropdown menu of operations organized into the following sections.

Import

The Import section is available to users with edit permissions on the current asset collection. It lists operations that bring external data into the collection, such as importing from spreadsheets, RDF files, or external data sources.

Export

The Export section is available to all users for all asset collections. It provides access to various features that take the content of an asset collection and either send it to other systems or produce downloadable files.

Transform

The Transform section is available to users with edit permissions and applies to asset collections that are not system or product configuration graphs. It contains operations that may affect the entire asset collection, such as running inference rules or converting data structures.

APIs

The APIs section appears when API-access operations are available for the current asset collection. It provides links to interfaces such as the GraphQL query browser and the Web Services Swagger UI, allowing developers to explore and interact with the collection programmatically.

Classic Importers

The Classic Importers section is available to users with edit permissions. It contains legacy import operations that open in the classic UI style, such as importing DDL files, connecting to JDBC sources, or importing spreadsheets using a mapping pattern or template.
