This version introduces major improvements to all components of
the TopBraid Suite, including TopBraid Composer, TopBraid Live and TopBraid Ensemble.
Changes to the TopBraid core platform (including Composer and Live):
- Added support for Jena SDB databases (RDF store for relational databases)
- SPARQLMotion support for user-defined sub-scripts (Maestro Edition)
- New spin:imports keyword for constraint checking libraries
- Seven new SPARQLMotion module types including sml:PostRequest (Maestro Edition)
Changes to Composer:
- Added a SPIN-based RDF comparison/diff feature (Maestro Edition)
- Improved syntax highlighting in SPARQL editor
- Numerous bug fixes and performance improvements
- New TopBraid Composer Free Edition (already released in June)
Users who already have 3.0.0 installed can upgrade simply by using the Eclipse update manager site. Note that neither 3.0 nor 3.1 work with Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo).
Changes to Ensemble:
- Various functional and usability improvements to the graph visualization and
chart components
- Additional events and attributes for some components such as tree and grid
- New Search Field (look up) component
- Added rich text editor component
- Integration of SPIN-based constraint checking with TBE applications
- A new relay that executes a SPARQLMotion script in response to an event
- Numerous bug fixes and performance improvements
